Passport Terms

These Offer Terms apply to every Offer in this Seattle Foodie Passport (the “Passport Book” or “Book”) published by Seattle Foodie Passport LLC (“SFP”). Passport Book purchases are governed by our Terms of Use, including refunds, limits on liability, and binding arbitration, at seattlefoodiepassport.com/terms-of-use. Our Privacy Policy is at seattlefoodiepassport.com/privacy-policy. These Offer Terms are also posted at seattlefoodiepassport.com/passport-terms. If these Offer Terms and the Terms of Use conflict on how an Offer is used or redeemed, these Offer Terms control (unless the Terms of Use expressly amend a provision of these Offer Terms); the Terms of Use control on all other matters.

Validity

Offers are valid January 1 through December 31 of the edition year on the cover. Restrictions printed on an Offer (such as blackout dates, locations, reservations, age limits, or fees) apply to that Offer and control over these terms.

How to Redeem

  • Tell staff you are using the Passport Book before ordering or booking.

  • Present this complete, physical Passport Book. Detached, copied, photographed, digital, or altered Offers are not accepted.

  • Each Offer other than a Wildcard may be used once. Staff will sign or mark it.

  • Some businesses also offer a bonus “Wildcard” Offer, usually for purchasing items that vary from day to day. Wildcards are Offers under these terms. Unless the Wildcard states a different limit, a Wildcard may be used on any visit during the edition year, up to once per day per Passport Book. Wildcards are not signed; present the complete Passport Book to redeem.

  • One Offer per table or party per visit. Restaurant Offers are dine-in only.

  • Buy-one-get-one Offers apply to an item of equal or lesser value.

  • If a featured item is unavailable, the business will substitute one of equal or greater value.

  • Discounts are applied at the time of purchase and do not create store credit.

  • Not combinable with other offers, discounts, or rewards unless the business agrees.

  • Each rule above applies unless the Offer states otherwise.

No Alcohol

Offers cannot be used for alcoholic beverages. If a bill includes alcohol, the discount applies only to the non-alcohol portion. Minimum-spend requirements are calculated on food and non-alcoholic items only.

Gratuity

Please tip on the full, pre-discount amount.

Cash Value

Each Offer has a redeemable cash value of 1¢, as required by Washington law (RCW 19.84.010); that 1¢ value does not expire even after the Offer expires. To redeem it, email help@seattlefoodiepassport.com; an Offer redeemed for cash cannot also be used for its discount. Otherwise, Offers have no cash value and are not gift certificates or gift cards. If the participating restaurant or business cannot provide a redeemable cash value of 1¢ physically or electronically, customers may request it from Seattle Foodie Passport LLC. 

Participating Businesses

Each Offer is made by the independent business named on it, which is solely responsible for honoring it and for its food, beverages, services, and premises. SFP is not responsible for quality, allergens, injuries, or other harm at any business. Ask about allergens before ordering, tell any service provider about allergies, sensitivities, or conditions before receiving services, and follow each business’s own rules, waivers, and booking policies. Businesses may close, move, change ownership, menus, or services, or leave the program during the year; this does not entitle you to a refund. Updates will be posted at seattlefoodiepassport.com. If a valid Offer is not honored, ask for a manager, then email help@seattlefoodiepassport.com with the business’s name, the date of your visit, and what happened.

The Passport Book

The Passport Book is for personal use and gifts only. No commercial resale, copying, or counterfeiting is allowed. SFP may void misused Offers. Lost, stolen, or damaged Passport Books are not replaced. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
